Two-day introduction course to Virtual Production

This introductory course is aimed at all disciplines within the professional film and television industry. The aim is to give participants a basic understanding of how production works in a Virtual Production environment. The course is open to 12 participants and will focus on essential VP technology tools, workflows and hands-on experience through practical exercises in a LED Volume.

Day 1

VP basics, terminology and workflow
Review and overview of the VP scene
Unreal Engine basics
LED volume demonstration
Camera and tracking
Set design and lighting in VP

Day 2

Preparation of LED Volume
Preparation and execution of practical exercises

The date is 18th - 19th of January and will be held in Drammen, Norway.

The course has an excess of NOK 1.200,- and includes lunch.

Demonstration of Virtuell Produksjon in a LED Volume

This demonstration provides a basic introduction to the tools and features of working with LED Volume. The main target audience is film and TV production professionals.

The demonstration will take place Wendesday 17th, 13:00h. (FREE)

The programme includes:

LED volume demonstration
Hands-on testing

The demonstration will take place in Drammen. Allocated space and

date will be provided.

Participation is free, but registration is mandatory.

Seminar on Virtual Production

LED HUB invites you to an exciting seminar with panel discussion and demonstration of Virtual Production in a LED Volume. This event is aimed at professionals from all areas of film and TV production, with a special focus on creative areas. We will give participants the opportunity to see the creation of a Virtual Production scene in a LED Volume.

The full-day seminar will be held in Drammen 20th of January with up to 60 participants and costs NOK 250,- Registration is binding.

New technology opportunities for Norwegian educational programmes

LED HUB is organising a one-day seminar on Virtual Production tailored for educators and communicators in schools. The seminar programme is designed to increase the competence of educators in media technology subjects and to pave the way for the future education of pupils and students in both secondary and higher education. Our overall aim is to provide participants with basic insight and valuable knowledge in the use of Virtual Production as a tool, with a particular focus on ICVFX in a LED volume.

Real-time technology and tracking

Virtual production in schools - possibilities and needs

The seminar will be held in Drammen 22nd of January and is primarily aimed at educators working with technology and media, but is open to anyone who sees the importance of this technology in their educational programmes.

The participation fee is NOK 650,- and includes lunch. Registration is binding.
